The Serpent’s Key: A Women’s Immersive Workshop for Igniting Expression through Intimacy Practices & Creative Movement.

The Serpent’s Key Women’s Immersion is an invitation to be an integral part of a well-held, trauma-informed, exploratory group workshop/playshop, where we will explore and invoke our creative expression through various modalities, while learning to listen in and respect our limits, and the capacity that we have in each moment.

The Serpent’s Key Immersion will be a space for clarifying our relational energetics and communication skills, diving into consent-based intimacy practices for deepening our learning of how to give and receive, exploring boundaries and reclaiming desire, and playfully engaging with expanded, creative bodily movement as limitless teacher and ally.

When we gather together to explore and restore our creative expression, playfully express ourselves within a container of other inspired women, and enhance our communication skills….everyone benefits.

This will be a deeply supportive space for coaches, artists, therapists, bodyworkers, energy healers, facilitators, and anyone who desires to more skillfully resource themselves, as a way to more wholly serve and support others.

The Serpent’s Key will be a container to drop perfectionism, to let go shame, and to become more liberated in the ways in which you desire to move, speak and express.

This immersion will be a space of invitation, exploration, playfullness, unbridled self-expression, and deep communion with self and others.

The Serpent’s Key: A Women’s Immersive Workshop for Igniting Expression through Intimacy Practices & Creative Movement.

Our group will be immersing ourselves in:

  • Movement practices that allow and invite in a wider range of expression and authenticity, aimed at locating your bodies unique edges of expression, instead of performance or perfectionism. We will invite in the spirit of play so that we can find our way into movement that feels good.

  • Relational Intimacy Practices that will shift the way that you show up in your relationships that include: partnered communication exercises, consent skills, and practices for clarifying the energetics of giving and of receiving.

  • Ritual Writing Prompts will follow our group practices, inviting our mythic story to make itself known and offer us practical ways to work with igniting our expression and tools for locating what has been blocking us from a deeper expression of the self.

“True story: I first met Elisa through her wild dance on Instagram. When, one day, I found myself in a similar dance it hit me “I need to connect with that woman.”

When we began our work I was in a state of personal and professional unravel and only certain of two things: I needed to rebuild from the embers of my deepest truth and I needed someone who could hold space for me to unearth that.

Elisa is not just a potent space holder, she is a seer, a soul guide, a fellow warrior unafraid to travel with you through grief, shame and other stories lurking in the shadows where so many gifts are often hiding.

Her embodied presence is the safety that has allowed me to crack open to deeper truth and rebuild an intimacy with myself and my partner that is already having potent ripples.

Our sessions, filled with just as much laughter as tears, carry the energy of that wild dance — and are supporting me in walking through this world all the more true, alive and free.”

— Cara, Writer & Coach

“Working with Elisa is like taking a sip of holy honey elixir that at once wraps you up in tenderness for all of the complexities of being human and liberates you into exploration of taboos, expression and wildness. Refreshing and dangerous, in a good kind of way.”

— Emma, Nature Based Mentor and Guide

Themes that we will be exploring during our time together:

  • Crafting a Solid Container of Connection

  • Consent-based Relational Intimacy Practices including making agreements, locating your limits, and getting clear on relational roles you are engaging in

  • Clarifying our Communication Skills and learning language to express more clearly and honestly

  • Inspired Writing Prompts & Journaling Reflections

  • Dance-inspired Movement Practices that invoke the playfulness and the joy that lives inside of us all

NO DANCE SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

You will always move at the pace that your body is needing, in each and every moment. This exploration will be a continuous invitation to listen to your body, locate your edges of comfort, and feel into more creative ways to express yourself.

In this immersion, our group may be invited to:

  • deepen our relationship to the wisdom of our desires and what they have to reveal

  • expand our ability to clearly communicate from a place of inner coherence

  • practice the skills to get in touch with, and communicate what is wanting to be expressed in our most intimate relationships

  • take full responsibility for what we actually want, instead of complaining about what we don’t want

  • learn to lovingly tend to the internalized fears that have been hidden underneath suppressed emotions and creative expression

  • explore what helps your body to open up pathways of deeper connection and expression

  • be witnessed both fiercely and tenderly, in a group container dedicated to invoking and celebrating slow and steady transformation and alchemy, as culture changing practice

  • explore relational practices that support us all to embody more accountability, responsibility, integrity, and honesty

“I reached out to Elisa a year ago when I could feel myself cracking. My knees were buckling under the pressure of unexpressed and, within myself, unembraced eros. I felt fragile from the deepening wounds of avoiding myself.

I knew I needed support from someone who had a deep intimacy with what eros is here to tell us. When I came across Elisa’s work, I felt both shaken and soothed in exactly the way I needed to.

Elisa’s quality of presence is the best, most dangerous kind of safety. She occupies a large space and, like gas, we expand toward the size of the space holding us.

Expansion can feel daunting. In my case, it always feels daunting. Elisa has the strength to support this experience with complete tenderness while never shrinking the size of the space she occupies.

This nuance in her support leaves just one possibility when the confronting energies arise: settle in with them. Slow down with them. Of course, this reveals them for what they are and allows our experience of them to transmute.

Eros, queerness, fear, longing, grief—our large friends of aliveness. And within them? Juice. Cackling. Ourselves. What a joy. Elisa is a steady-handed midwife for this technicolor truth within us. I feel so very grateful to have worked with her.”
